Once we discovered the "Power of the Internet," we regained a New sense of Spirit and Purpose!
We have lived in the same small town location since graduating from college, and we spent most of our life raising our family and always working very hard in pursuit of the American Dream.
We raised 3 children, had a small ranchette with horses and all varieties of 4-H aniimals, and we owned a small
business in Engineering and Architectural design. But, the truth of the matter was that the business owned us, and we did not have the time to enjoy life and our childen!. Once our children left home, we also found the ranchette owned us too! So, it was time to do some serious thinking about our future.
Taking our frustrations very seriously, we downsized our downtown office location, and moved the office to our home. That was a monumental endeavor, but it truly FELT like the first step to freedom. Then we decided to downsize further, and move to a mountainous lake community at the 4500 ft. elevation level, and thoroughly realize the benefits of working "anywhere" from home.
The picture to the right is the view we saw everday, and our Vision was truly born. ........ we could actually see those invisible communication waves connecting the globe. You could say we were in "awe" with our imagination hard at work. Now we could tap into a National/International population every single day from a truly remote scenic location, without ever leaving home. This is when we wrote our mission statement. "Unite the Hearts of the World through Wisdom and Knowledge." OK! Let's go!
So not only did we discover that we could "work anywhere in the world," but we also realized that living full-time at the 4500 ft. high mountain elevation level brought more SNOW into our lives than we had ever imagined. Now, cozy is good ..... but cozy became overwhelming. You may not believe it, but the California mountains can average 3 - 7' of snow easily, and a lot more depending on the elevation. In addition, Cal had had a previous stroke and heart attack, and we were really serious about making a new choice again.

So, with our newly found Freedom of Lifestyle on the Internet, we again moved ..... back to our small town location in the valley, and thanked our lucky stars when we found a home on a tiny peaceful lake......in fact, the ONLY lake in town. We hated leaving that beautiful water behind, but at least we get a "water fix" here. And, the best part is we are back closer to our family, no 130' trees are crashing thru rooftops, and we are finally WARM again.
