It is the VETERAN , not the preacher,
who has given us freedom of religion.
It is the VETERAN , not the reporter,
who has given us freedom of the press.
It is the VETERAN , not the poet,
who has given us freedom of speech.
It is the VETERAN, not the campus organizer,
who has given us freedom to assemble.
It is the VETERAN , not the lawyer,
who has given us the right to a fair trial.
It is the VETERAN , not the politician,
Who has given us the right to vote.
It is the VETERAN ,
who salutes the Flag,
ETERNAL REST GRANT THEM O LORD,
AND LET PERPETUAL LIGHT SHINE UPON THEM
It is the veteran ,
who serves under the Flag,
Forget me not
Remember rockets red glare
bombs bursting in air
gave threw the night that our flag is still there.
Our forefathers reminder of a price to be paid
and responsibility to inherit the United States.
Rockets red glare bombs bursting in air
Words fallen on ears unwilling to hear.
deaf no more we all know now the price of freedom the price of war.
Freeborn children listen and see a new generation paying for you and me
Don't be so blind or so deaf to the sights and sounds Americans have left,
Let freedom scream in our ears and minds never forget those left behind.
Freeborn children stand tall and see! does the banner old glory yet wave for thee
God bless America
Freedom
Ring the Bells of Freedom,
and liberty tolls for we.
Quench the Ring of Freedom,
and oppression tolls for thee.
Hold the VISION for.....
PEACE ON EARTH!
I dedicate this beautiful Poem to Peace & Freedom for all!
In Tribute to our Son, Todd Bachman who proudly served with the US Marine Corps Refueling Tanker Divison in the Gulf War! We watched, in tears, his shiny 18 year old shoes leave the bus station in total excitement to serve his country and make a difference!
Bless you Todd! We are PROUD of you!
Todd returned from active duty in 1994 with Gulf War Syndrone (culminating from the "friendly fire" mishaps and chemical posioning)....he still has night sweats to this day and could use many prayers.
May Peace prevail on Earth soon!
God Bless our Troops!
God Bless our Fallen Heros!
Memorial Day represents one day of
national awareness and reverence, honoring those Americans who died while defending our Nation and its original values.
Happy Memorial Day!
A Tribute in Gratitude!!!
Wake up America & Say Thank You!
Remember what this Holiday Signifies!
"The story of America's quest for freedom is inscribed on her history in the blood of her patriots." - Randy Vader
For over 200 years, Native Americans have fought and died alongside their fellow Americans to bring Freedom to all of those who call this magnificent country Home.
